OUR PROCESS

When outfitting an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), expanding a private practice, or sourcing reliable inventory as an equipment dealer, you shouldn’t have to choose between your budget and patient safety.
Unfortunately, the term “refurbished” can mean very different things depending on who you buy from. To some, it simply means wiping down a piece of used equipment with a cleaning spray and putting it back on the truck. At Venture Medical, we believe in doing it right — with a mindset of quality, precision, and zero shortcuts.
For over 25 years, our goal has been simple: We Operate So You Can®. Here’s a look behind the scenes at how our dedicated technicians take pre-owned medical equipment and restore it to dependable, OR-ready condition.
Whether we’re restoring a surgical table or calibrating a vital signs monitor, every piece of equipment follows a strict, multi-step renewal process before it ever reaches your facility.
The process begins the moment equipment enters our production floor. Technicians fully assess the unit and tear it down to inspect for internal wear, structural integrity, and electrical safety. We don’t just fix what’s broken — we identify high-wear components before they cause downtime in your operating room.
Cosmetics matter in a clinical setting. For large equipment, the bases, frames, and structural housings aren’t just wiped down — they’re thoroughly cleaned, sanded, and repainted using high-quality, durable automotive-grade acrylic paint. This ensures a durable, professional finish that stands up to heavy-duty hospital disinfectants.
While structural components are being refinished, sub-assemblies receive deep technical care:
Once refurbished and restored, the equipment is meticulously reassembled. We replace missing decals and perform comprehensive operational checks — verifying that every control, brake, side rail, display, or moving component operates smoothly to OEM standards.
Before any item leaves our building, it moves out of production and into pre-shipment for a final QA audit.
💡 The “Customer-Perspective” audit: A dedicated service technician uses a rigorous biomedical checklist to verify every function, then evaluates the equipment from your perspective — checking aesthetics, usability, and safety — to ensure it delivers a “like-new” experience on day one.
Our rigorous process applies across every category of equipment we sell:
