Description
The Refurbished Wallach ZoomStar with Trulight combines smooth zoom optics with bright LED lighting on a compact, mobile base. Because the Trulight system places five high-intensity, solid-state LEDs around the objective lens, the light converges on the target. As a result, you get a brighter, whiter light that shows true tissue color.
In addition, the ZoomStar’s center LED is green and turns on at the touch of a switch to highlight blood vessel patterns. The green LED operates at a dominant wavelength of 525 to 540 nanometers, and the whole lighting system draws just 12W. Best of all, the long-life LEDs mean there is no need to frequently change a light bulb.
For optics, the ZoomStar provides a continuous zoom from 4x to 20x with a 285 mm working distance and 20x eyepieces. Meanwhile, the five-point star base weighs just 10.7 kg, so it moves easily between rooms yet stays sturdy during exams.
