Because the Maquet Alphastar 1132 premium pad set pairs medium firm foam with a 1 inch layer of Visco memory foam on top, patients get extra pressure relief during longer cases. This added layer reduces pressure points, which matters most for bariatric patients or longer procedures. The conductive Fusion III vinyl cover also stretches in four directions, so it moves with table adjustments instead of pulling or bunching.
