Description
Kendall SCD 700 Sequential Compression System, Refurbished. This controller helps prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) with sequential, gradient compression to the leg, foot, or both at once. It uses Vascular Refill Detection technology to read each patient’s own vascular refill time. The system then adjusts therapy to match, instead of running one fixed cycle for everyone.
This refurbished unit includes a new battery and a new tubing set, so it’s ready to put into service right away. Please note, sleeves come as a separate purchase.
What Makes the SCD 700 Stand Out:
- Patient detection: tracks whether the garments are actively being worn, so your team can follow therapy compliance
- Animated alerts: clear icons show what caused an error and how to fix it
- Built to last: rated IP23 for limited liquid ingress, with a durable Xylex housing and a protected battery
- Quiet operation: soft over molding and vibration dampeners keep the controller quiet at the bedside
- Easy to clean: smooth, grooveless surfaces work with most hospital grade cleaning agents
- Easy to read: a 3.2 inch color LCD screen displays large, clear icons
Because this system is compact and easy to operate, patients can even continue VTE prevention therapy at home during the highest risk period after discharge, with the same standard of care they received in the hospital.
